Do you guys think that En Passant is kinda annoying when you get en passant Ed?

I think that it is annoying

My w/l would be leagues higher had it not been for en passant. Every time I have a winning idea, En passant ruins it.

When preparing a winning idea, "en passant" it first.

How is it annoying? Any educated chess player knows it is a rule. It applies to everyone. That's like saying a ball not swung at that goes over the plate being called a strike is annoying.

What would be annoying would be if en passent was impossible, and the opponent could just march his Pawn right past yours, through the square that you control and lock the position up... and you couldn't do anything about it.

The en passent rule is there for a reason. The reason is the enemy Pawn's two-step move.

It took me years for en passant to become muscle memory or whatever you call it but now I can react to it in blitz without having to think about it the same as any other move. So I guess just hang in there or really practice getting to recognize it?
