But hey, he's alright at chess.

He’s ok I don’t really care
he has the right to be arrogant at least.
How does that make sense?

i dont like how players like hikaru have demystified the top levels of play. It is great for learning content but terrible for a competitive activity where money for all but the absolute top players is scarce and prestige is one of the few compensatory privileges.
if he where somehow raising the earning privileges somehow of masters around the world the way Fischer did then the trade of the mystique for the rise in living standards may have well been worth it, but his streams seem more brand aggrandizing and a personal income for a man that really doesnt need it, than a service to chess.
He is of course free to do what he likes .

Hikaru is great, he is always entertaining, and you can learn a lot. How and why should it be a bad thing to "demystify" the top levels of chess?

He is snobby at times, but a nice guy overall, with firm social views and a good sense of humour. Qudos to him that he refused to play at the barbaric state of saudi Arabia (the FIDE World Rapid and Blitz Championships in Riyadh) and he was the only male chessplayer to show some integrity (Maria Muzychuk did the same as well).

He can be arrogant because he’s good at the game. So I don’t really care.

But hey, he's alright at chess.
He is ranked number 16 in the world, that is more than "alright". Arrogant? Heck yeah, but I can forgive him for that because he is so good. What I cannot forgive is when he yelled at me one time during a live stream, that is unforgivable.

Hikaru is Hikaru so if your not a fan maybe don't follow, otherwise enjoy he does his own thing.

Being arrogant is not a favorable quality, no matter how good you are at something. You would expect a top grandmaster to be humble, but with Hikaru it is not always the case.
Do you like Hikaru?
For me, no. Hikaru is arrogant.
