Does Chess.com utilize the USCF rating System?

Just curious if it is the same.  Also, what % of players on chess.com are experts (over 2000) for any given catagory?  If the rating system is the same, it is my understanding that it should be the top 5-7% or so.

Thanks!

Similar methodology, but it is a completely separate ratings pool so ratings from one pool to the other can't be reliably compared.

Winning at chess is not a given; it is earned by hardwork.  Grandmaster, Master, Expert, Advanced, Intermediate or beginner; Chess Life is not a bed of rose's!

I know, I've worked hard.  I'm almost 2000 USCF and was curious if I am playing at the same comparative level here.

No, the USCF uses a modified Elo system and chess.com uses the Glicko rating system.

Whats a modified Elo?

MrKornKid
