Does Playing Chess Improve Decision-Making in Other Games?

One thing I’ve noticed after spending more time playing chess online is how much it changes the way you think during other competitive games. Chess forces you to slow down, calculate risks, think ahead, and avoid emotional decisions after mistakes.

I actually started noticing this while switching between rapid chess games and other online games on mobile, including apps like Royal X Casino login. In both cases, patience and decision-making seem to matter more than people expect. The biggest difference is that chess trains you to stay disciplined instead of chasing quick results after a bad move.

Do you think chess helps improve focus and strategy outside of chess itself, or are the skills too different?
