Hi all yesterday I borrowed a C.D from my friend the C.D's name ( Chessmaster for improvement 9th ) he told me no one can beat that computer

I opened CD inserted all my basic informations  and I started a game against the chess master ( Hardest Computer ) 20 min for both sides

the opening was Evans Gambit (e4-e5-Nf3-Nc6-Bc4-Bc5-b4) I was playing as white and he was black .

at the last minutes I saw that's I won the match by a checkmate I was really happy !!!! an amazing moments )))

so I was wondering how I did that ?

maybe he blundered  or something I don't know :S but I know computer doesn't blunder at all .......

anyway I wanna a deep analyses and many thanks ......{#emotions_dlg.smile}

Well obviously the computer is broken.
This is not the chessmaster with 2945 or even 1945. Aside from many flaws in the opening I'll adress the biggest flaw I see.

The computer actually gave away his queen. when it should have doen a very simple mate.

33... Qf8??

This gives away the queen, better would be:

3... Be4 +
4.Kc2 Qc3#

See, the computer made a huge blunder on a simple move that's only 2 moves deep. So I am guessing something is wrong with it.

Two things.

1) The king is already on c2, so that reply doesn't make sense.

2) The bishop is pinned.

On the other hand, while I'm scanning that position, 33. ...Rc6+ looks completely devastating.

Yeah I looked over the pin lol. Was looking at it too quick. Sorry, my bad.

But the computer still gave away his queen for a mere bishop. Qc5 can be a forced draw if black chooses too, Rc6 seems winning. So many options so why give away a queen.
