Doesnt ...g3 refute the Fishing pole trap ?

So I've had a few games where I've managed to get the setup of the Fishing Pole trap all setup, and it seems all white needs to do is play the g2 pawn to g3 as below.
Once the knight is taken and the white queen takes back the pawn then material is level.
Everyone has made this move, so I think the "trap" is defanged these days, what am I missing ?
