Doing Customised puzzles

I've decided to set myself the target of doing 10 customised puzzles per day.
What do people think is the best rating range to go for. I've so far gone for puzzles between a range of 800-1900.
My reasoning is that anything below 800 is going to be too basic for me but anything above 2000 is getting in to obscure territory that is unlikely to ever arise in an actual game.
What are peoples general thoughts on this? Should I change the upper/lower limits ?
