doubt about opening
Eg. The Sicilian Defense and the King’s Gambit are some of my favorites as black, mainly for aggressive players.
As white, if you like to keep the game balanced, I would recommend openings such as the four knights, three knights, two knights, etc.
If you would like to seize a lead in development, then I would also recommend the Sicilian, although it can be complex and difficult to learn for beginners.
Famous traps include the fried liver and some others ( I only know the fried liver)

Generally, there is no such thing like best opening, otherwise all GMs would play it. On the other hand, for intermediate players (like you) is best advised to study 1.e4 e5 openings. These so called open games lead to more exciting positions than closed openings. London opening is the shortcut for lazy players but if you want to become strong player and have fun playing chess you should study open games, try some gambits, study games of romantic era players like Paul Morphy, Adolf Anderssen, Joseph Blackburne.
