Are you talking about the 50 move rule?

Thanks. So if I understand it, each player gets 50 moves…which is equal to 100 moves total?

That rule also requires no captures or pawn moves to get the draw. Either of those reset the count.

It's also 50 move pairs (each player makes a move) or 100 ply (a ply is a move by one side only)

Excellent, that’s the confirmation I needed to fully understand. Thanks.

Isn't there a 75 move one

Only OTB, as far as I'm concerned. The 50-move rule allows either player to claim a draw, whereas the 75-move rule is an automatic draw.

The move limit draw is 50 move rule (no pawns)
