There's a less than 10% chance the person posting from that account is the person in the picture (although that doesn't matter to thirsty/simpy guys who enjoy the fantasy regardless). In any case, I don't come to a chess site to see human flesh on display. If I wanted that I'd create an Instagram account and join the hordes of simps handing out wanton free validation to 5/10s with drawn on eyebrows, lip fillers, heavy makeup and filters.

@MorningGlory84 I don't really get what was the need to go off topic, the guy whom you are talking about just shared his/her opinion about the subject and you started commenting about illogical part is that the reason why you visit forums lol

I rarely sleep deeply enough to dream. Once every 5 years or so. (fact is I don't really sleep much).  So no, I can't relate.

Pegusu

The weirdest dream 💭 I ever had was about me being one of the pieces on a giant chess board.♟

There's no reason why this phenomenon should be limited to chess; it could happen with any sort of game or activity. It's likely just a matter of your brain being active and trying to process the information it's taking in. If you're finding it disruptive, it might be helpful to try and wind down with some other activity before bed. You could cut carrots, clean your room, or make piping hot tea.

I used to cut carrots to stop the chess dreams, but then I kept dreaming about carrots. You can’t win.

LOL

I'm not sure why but for the last couple of hours I've had only a couple of things on my mind.

Sleep deprivation is a serious problem. Are you consuming caffeine after midday?

This is pseudoscience

CraigIreland

Is it not more likely that you rarely recall your dreams?

GeorgeGoodnight
How do you know where dreaming ends and reality begins? We use the same apparatus to create dreams as we do to perceive reality. Mmmmmm

I don't know about that 10 percent thing. I use my real picture.

Chesserroo2

I study lots of chess and don't dream about it. I do dream in spanish though. And do dream I'm back in school. I guess my subconscious mind does not like chess.

CraigIreland

I wouldn't worry about not understanding your dreams. The conscious mind doesn't have the capacity to fully understand what the subconscious is doing.

MorningGlory84

I'm off to get some sleep.

If playing chess affects negatively you're daily life and you can't get out of it. Then, you are addicted.
