Don't worry. I say rude things and block people when I'm sober.
Drinking while playing chess

Good luck, man! wishing you the best. playing chess while drinking is fine up until the point where your judgement is slurred. If you were to ask my advise, I would say you can tell when your judgement is slurred by noticing when you are ready to resent your opponent in any way. Stop making moves at that moment. Don't short change yourself by making illogical moves. If you played me and were beating me or visa versa, I would only offer respect until you begin to belligerently insult me. At a minimum, make yourself a mental rule to maintain silence if you're impaired unless you are offering a respectful comment. Chess is meant to unite intelligent and civilized folks. Unsportsmanlike comments are considered disrespectful to chess itself. Lose like a pro and win like a humble amateur. Respect your opponents who are humble. Win, lose or draw. Ignore those opponents who talk smack. Let your tactics speak for you. Best wishes.
I drink too much when I play, then I get weirdly paranoid, say rude things, and block people.
I'm getting help with my drinking and am sorry for anything stupid I may have said or done to you in live chess.
