I looked for sites where you can bet money while playing chess, and the only site I found was: PowChess ( www.powchess.com/ ). I did some searching with answers but couldn't find anything about this on this forum, not even on Lichess. Does anyone know this site? what do you think of the site? site? Is it worth a try?

That is most probably a scam. Only legit gambling I know is Chessbase ducats. But you cannot convert it into cash you can use it to buy Chessbase products. Warning playchess.com 's anti-cheating is very good you cannot cheat to earn ducats there.
