What elo should I start doing blitz and bullet and openings? (3 separate questions)

You can do any time control you like, there's players of all levels, my bullet is around 150. I recently watched Anna cramlings video about low elo chess and her advice was just to keep it simple and wait for them to make a mistake

Oh ok.

The question is whether you want to improve. If you don’t care about improving, then play bullet and blitz. But if you want to become a decent chessplayer, stick to slow time controls. Bullet and blitz will interfere with your learning what is important.

So I never do blitz/bullet? (unless my time is short?)

But stick to rapid for most games

Blitz is handy for endgames and practicing openings

Alot of people I know that play only rapid get stuck they pretty much play blitz or just freeze up a lot rapid is helpful but if you don't know how to use your time it's not going to be so helpful you should play rapid until you have enough intuition at least

There's ishues with each time control but tbh otb is probably best bullet makes you sloppy blitz tho makes you rush too much rapid your time management ends up being terrible and I see a lot of rapid players have horrible endgames

You can do that until maybe 1600-1800 tho I would recommend trying to think and find ways where it makes your opponents lose (hopefully by not hanging pieces ) you can't be too greedy or hyper aggressive but playing passive is also not the best but patients is pretty important tho cause most games eventually your opponent collapses (sadly so will you most likely they are just as bad or good as you most of the time )

look at what all the top players play to practice. live blitz/bullet mostly
