Whenever a pawn makes its two square move passing through a square attacked by an enemy pawn, that enemy pawn has the option to capture it in the next move, exactly the same way as if the pawn had move only one square. This can only happen in the imediate move after the advance.
It occurs allways among pawns, never among other pieces.
It is the only capture in chess in which the piece is not placed in the square of the captured piece.
