i believe this is one of the books he suggested using in the interviews he was doing. I forgot what interview i believe it was a TED talk idk but also chess.com made an article about his training and it showed an endgame book he studied.
I have no doubt that it is a good endgame book but for the average player struggling to just get to a higher class something more practical like "Silman's Complete Endgame Course" would be more appropriate.
