It's honestly up to you, though if I had to say, I would say stick with the Catalan. Mostly because you might be familiar with those positions, or if your Catalan isn't good as you said you didn't study it in depth than maybe study it in depth or just learn the English I guess. Ever thought of learning the scotch?

In 10 days i will be playing my first OTB rapid tournament. Im 1900elo on chess.com but unrated OTB.
I was wondering if i should play the Catalan (that i've been playing since 1300 onward but have never studied in depth) or should i prepare the English Opening bc i think is more likely to get opponents who are not well prepared for that.
Thoughts?
