Chess.com, pls add eval bar at the left of the chess board when you are currently playing. Both players can see the eval bar so that each player can see if their position is good or not.
That isn't something that's going to be added, especially in rated games.
I am a very optimistic player and having the Eval Bar tell me my position is worse won't really be helpful.
However, in puzzles, you notice you find great tactics in puzzles and most times miss such tactics in your game. The reason behind this is obvious. In a puzzle you know there is a winning move and you try your best to find it.
If Eval bar is hanging somewhere in a real game, once it goes up, you will know you have a winning move and you will spend time trying to find it. Not really a good idea. You will be surprised by how many mate in one, two or five you would have found, if the Eval bar just gave you a signal.
