Evaluation of games by engine

Hi does anyone know if there are engines that can evaluate a collection of games and give kind of human like natural language advice on the main areas of improvement required. for instance it analyses your games and says something like "in this position you failed to understand the key issues which were 1,2 and 3 and hence made the wrong decision to exchange a bishop for a knight". for lower level players this might be more useful than the standard engine evaluation as a number.

Engine do not do that type of analysis.

You would be better off using an engine, and seeting it to just check for blunders.

An engine like that would put a lot of chess coaches out of business.

ye it's exactly that point that I was dancing around. ultimately computers are the best players of chess and understand the positions in more detail do with but of natural language it should be able to explain the positions in a more human like way a la google duplex.

Imagine if Magnus Carlsen came to your house to analyse some of your chess games BUT he decided to become a 'mute' - he refuses to talk or write anything down for you - how would you communicate and learn from him? Well he'd start showing you moves on the board, right? And if you thought "but can't I play x or y or z instead?" you could show him those moves, and then he might make some moves of his own to show you why they're good/bad? Well that's how you communicate with and learn from the engine, by looking through it's lines to try and understand it's evaluations.

understood but what I mean is more of a general observation on strengths and weaknesses from a number of games rather than specific variations from a particular game. something like "you tend to come out of the opening in a cramped position and are giving up material too easily" or "you are misjudging closed positions and making the wrong exchanges" followed by some general advice on what to do in these positions.

Again...engines do not evaluate that way.  YOU need to learn how to read, and understand the engine output.

Chessmaster 4000 Turbo can annotate games. Of course, the annotations are a bit robotic but you'll get good understanding especially the openingsopenings. I think that most probably all Chessmaster versions have that feature. I'm talking about CM4000 up to the latest edition.
