Was just reading the thread about chess being solved and perhaps going into variants...
Ok here's a fun thread. If we went 9*9 or 10*10 what sort of additional pieces would you use to change chess.
lol I'll start with.....
The Kamikaze! When this piece takes it comes off the board and takes down every piece around it except for the king. a piece similar to atomic chess actions. 1 kamikaze a side! moves diagonally as far as it can go or forward one like a pawn. :D
