I find it very amusing that Plugger is talking about fair play. Firstly, resigning in general is not fair play at all so you deserve to lose points(more so than losing I believe) Secondly I was just Playing Mr Plugger (who had me on the ropes I might add) and as soon as he lost his Queen he resigned, at least try and fight for a win. So im not sure what meaning of Fair play Mr Plugger knows, but its alot different from where I come from. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

You are wrong.

Please explain the Prodigy, nothing worse than a one liner, your probably just a bad sport aswell and resigns when the going gets tough

You are very wrong.  There is nothing unfair about resigning.  It is a mark of respect to your opponent... in not wasting their time to prove they can win.  Ratings don't care if you resigned or lost by checkmate.  The rating adjustment is the same.

Your kidding yourself, In particular to Mr Pluggers game, he was beating me fair and square as soon it got a bit difficult he reisgned. Where is the fun in playing chess if everybody resigned? 'Mark of respect' get over yourself its an online chess game where people want to play a game. 'wasting thier time to prove they can win' Isn't that what Chess is all about-trying to win and outwit your opponent? In all honestly I dont really care about the point system, I just like to play the game.

Yes, but no one wants to sit around and watch you try to 'out wit' them when you're down a queen. It's simply a waste of time for both players, you woul do better, and have much more fun simply starting a new game.
