What is the point of these players who stop playing in the middle of a game, when you make a good move? What are they gaining? Why not just resign? Are they throwing their phones across the room?
Fed up of disconnecting players, here is the solution.
Sort:
I guess 1) Frustration about the incoming loss. 2) They hope their opponents won't wait until they win on time and resign (some people do that, because they just want to play 
). Maybe a combination of both.

Why complain about the disconnects? Just be patient and collect your points. You ppl that complain about the disconnect are the reason why I have to wait 5 min between games to play. I am currently on the b.s. fair play policy because I keep getting disconnected. Its callled having a life. I play at work, on the road, etc. If you are playing me, I am playing you while doing something else. If if disconnects, shut up and take your points, a win is a win. Be thankful it disconnected and know that if I gave you your full attention you woulda lost. Seriously why complain, I love wins. Besides it will take you no time to get to a full game. Meanwhile, I have to wait like 10 min to play 2 ppl. Because of this it is taking me forever to get my elo rating back to where it should be because at most you get 5 pts for beating me. So to all you ppl who keep complaining about disconnects and cant just shut up and take a Win. ...thanks yall have ruined this app for me. I already posted in the disconnect forum how they should abolish the fair play policy because someone who intentionally disconnects gains 0 advantage and is annoying at the most. I guess this app wont do that because you all non-disconnectors would complain. How do yall play this app and never disconnect anyway? Do yall really only play this app in like a designated area or smthn?

How can you check someone's profile *before* you play Live Chess? If you could set your prefs to, for example, people who have profiles over 1 year old, or people who've never had a 'fair play violation', you'd be more likely to meet players who'll stick to the game, even if losing. Is it poss to set such prefs by being a paid-up member, maybe?
Sometimes people disconnect because the connection goes down.
Last couple of weeks I've had problems with Firefox crashing. Apparently the Java update has introduced a problem. It has managed to recover each time, but it probably looks like disconnection to my opponent.
