FIDE 2000

Hello everyone,

Im new here. I currently have a FIDE rating of 1675, and its been the same for some time now. My goal is to get to 2000 FIDE. I would like to ask players who have hauled themselves from this rating range to over 2000 what their methods were, and what books to invest in ! The only thing I do with any sort of regularity is chess tactics on chess tempo. Any advice would be appreciated.

Train tactics 20 minutes a day. It helps!

Artur Yusupov's great chess course with 9 books, last one came out 2 days ago. It's practically a guide how to go from 1500-2100

Beside that participate in OTB tournaments as much as possible. You not only need theory but also a lot of pratice and routine to make progress.
