In these days we see an attack by chess.com against FIDE, showing how corrupt they are.

Can u provide a link to a thread/ webpage concerning this topic?

Everything began with this:

http://www.chess.com/news/leaked-contract-between-kasparov-and-leong-transparancy-vs-ethics-9707

But since it didn't make enough scandal it continued with this:

http://www.chess.com/news/deal-between-paulson--ilymzhinov-revealed-in-yet-another-leaked-document-6252

It is enough clear where it is going, hence my beginning post, since I believe chess.com could do a better job than FIDE.

Well, it certainly does look like something is going on...

I'M THE TROOLER??   My mother called me a trooler once.        Only once.

OK, I've read the 2 documents, and I still don't get your argument. You don't want to belong to FIDE, but you want your own title. Well, deal with AGON in the future, and see if you have better luck.

Please stop writing for no reason. You are not a competitive player, and cannot understand what we are talking about. Are there any other threads where you can go?

After looking into this more, I am lost in my thoughts some what. I didn't realize the deal Kasparov had made, when I made my previous statements.

One reason I am not sure what to make of all of this is, I am not conpletely educated on the all of the corruption of FIDE. I have read about the former Soviet influence and how Bobby Fischer had to battle that for fair tournament treatment and it seems that over money, the venues haven't always been best suited or perhaps fair, is a better word, for WCC events but, perhaps Kasparov really knows the worst of the dirt. I am sure that is part of the reason he chose to break away in the past.

I am actually applauding his efforts to simply take over the entity he once wanted no part of. I guess if you can't beat them, join them and for a new twist to the old adage, if possible, control them also. If Kasparov does succeed in taking over FIDE, cleaning up the dirty politics and makes a better chess world for the fans and players, especially if he can make it more worthwhile for the players financially, I'll take back every bad thing I have ever said about him. I would do a 180 on my assessment of him being a selfish and arrogant player.

But nemo, he can be a selfish and arrogant player, and at the same time a good FIDE president.

I could overlook a guy who was an @$$#0!# of a chess player but, happened to be a good samaritan otherwise in life. I am sure I am thought to be a bit obnoxious here but, if people who that met me IRL, they'd either not recognize me or think perhaps they got the wrong first impression of me, as may well have with Kasparov. Perhaps he was extremely confident and it was really hard for him to keep his emotions in check after he played badly. I can forgive that. I don't think he ever asked ,"why must I lose to this idiot" and I can laugh at that...
