Damn. Carlsens live blitz rating after round 17 of the blitz is 2931. Fide has to fix that formula, it's K factor is fuggin 20!! For blitz!

Anand made a rookie mistake and Nakamura forked his king + rook. Nakamura wins but hes still too far from Ian and carlens

OMG!! Magnus & Ian are now tied after 19 rounds. 2 to go! Naka & Moro drew.
This may be evidence of which type of chess will sell better to the public & attract sponsorship like other sports. I love slow time controls but for the general public that get bored from waiting this might be what does best from a marketing standpoint. It's just more exciting.
If they stay tied, Carlsen probably will win

If Carlsen should win this he will be the current WC of Classic, Blitz and rapid. WOW! But I am really impressed by Ian!
But Nepo has worse chances he is playing Aronian. Hikaru still has some chances too
