What about Carlsen?
FIDE World Blitz Chess Championship

Carlsen has also played most all the leaders so his competition will be at same level as Ians. 4 rounds to go.

Is there some video library where we can watch the games OTB?
This is probably the video/audio commentary for each round by Dmitriy Komarov.

Damn. Carlsens live blitz rating after round 17 of the blitz is 2931. Fide has to fix that formula, it's K factor is fuggin 20!! For blitz!

Round 18 Pairings:
Mamedov-Nepomniachtchi
Carlsen-Morozevich
Nakamura-Anand
Yudin-Harikrishna
Korobov-Aronian
Dreev-Mamedyarov
Anand made a rookie mistake and Nakamura forked his king + rook. Nakamura wins but hes still too far from Ian and carlens

After 18 of 21. It's gonna be brutal in the last 3 rounds. Naka ain't that far behind, Ian & Magnus still have to score also to stay ahead.

This may be evidence of which type of chess will sell better to the public & attract sponsorship like other sports. I love slow time controls but for the general public that get bored from waiting this might be what does best from a marketing standpoint. It's just more exciting.
Woohooo, good news! :D
