FINALLY I DID IT

i like how ppl just ignore the fact that in the orignial post i wrote "I MIGHT NOW WORK ON MY ACTUAL (rapid and classical) CHESS". i was just happy that i achieved something that i worked hard to gain. If nobody cares then so be it, if it is an easy feat to gain then so be it, if being good at bullet chess doesnt make u good at "actual chess"then so be it; i never said i was good at chess once in this thread. im unfollowing this thread now so no point posting on it. i never knew how unneccessarily unkind and negative some ppl in the community could be (or maybe im in the wrong here). Like i just wanted to share an achievemtn bc i have never been 2000 in something before. Like a simple congratulations or something would have been nice even if u didnt mean it but instead ppl try to act like i shouldnt be proud of it or that im not a good chess player. This thread only proves why i dont speak to or like higher rated players.

bullet isn’t even “real” chess and why do people make useless forums like this anyway? Do you want to prove something or are you just boasting. I know I’m going to get a response like “I’m just sharing my opinion why do you have to be so mean” but really all your asking is validation from others why can’t you just be happy without flexing your bullet rating in the forums.

yk i dont even care anymore.  all i wanted to do wsas share my achievement (that i was rly proud of) but i never thought that some ppl would be so negative and mean. just ignore this useless forum. sry for making this happy now.

It's just really weird that you even made this thread. Bullet chess? 2000? Why on earth would you waste your time like that? I guess you didn't realize that nobody cares about bullet. At all. You could reach 3000 and nobody would care. It's bullet chess lol.

sorry but i cant rly take an acc that was made a week ago and that hasnt played a single game on that acc seriously. i you want to have an opinion u can have it but there are ppl whose opinions differ from urs

being good at bullet doesn't mean you'll be as good at "real chess," but it's still a big milestone to reach 2000 in something

AunTheKnight

@DigitalWarfare is @GrindOutWins.

Bullet chess is a different type of chess, requiring pattern recognition and quick thinking over heavy calculation. Period. I need to copy this into a Google doc and just paste it everywhere.

Alright. Being good at rapid won't mean you're good at 'real chess' either, to be fair.

AunTheKnight

I'll always be bad at classical...

true, though it's more related to classical than shorter time controls

Congratulations your good at making your opponents run out of time. Happy now? You should quit making useless forums like this just to get validation. If you really want to do that do join some club and you can boast all you want. It’s not just you, there are a lot of people share achievements in the forums.

i would speak my mind but i can tell ur only saying that for a reaction now so i cant be botherd

5 days ago, you made a forum, https://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/2000-blitz-6

Congratulations you're good at flagging and just playing quickly which doesn't even mean anything.  Happy now? You should quit making useless forums like this just for attention. If you really want to do that then just get your own group who actually wants to listen to your useless stuff.

I had my 1st brilliant move today

How is bullet chess a different type of chess requiring pAtTeRn ReCoGnItIoN over a short period of time. Ok you don’t get it. If you play bullet at like a higher rating you would know if you were up a queen you still would win a game of bullet because the other guy tries to flag you. There is no calculation in bullet whatsoever it’s just lame.

bullet isn't just "no calculation" and moving pieces randomly to different squares. you can't play f3 g4 a4 b4 c4 d4 e4 f4 every game and still win, there is still a lot of chess skill needed to play it well

I just remembered you made fun of me for having a low bullet rating a while ago.

Anyway, yes, you do lol. Pattern recognition really helps. Since rabbit is a bullet pro, let him explain (if he wants to). You're just doing this for attention.

Alright.

AunTheKnight

I just realized: blitz plays 10 minute rapid. Tons of flagging in that.
