Hi bro, here is what you need to do. You can trust me because I'm FIDE rated.
-First of all, you need to make an rating ID. Depends if its national or fide rated. Then, register for the tournament. In the link, there will be a registration link. If there isn't, then you should contact the organizer (The organizer's number will be in the link probably).
- Make sure you have a specific opening (1 white 1 black for e4 1 black for d4). If you face a opening that you don't know/ don't know the correct move, just play solid.
- When playing in the tournament, don't try anything new (Change opening, change playing style, etc). You can sac your pieces. But of course, calculate first if its good to do it.
- Touch move. If you touch a piece, you must move that piece. If you want to adjust your piece, (Put the piece on the square properly) say adjust so that it won't be counted at touch move.
- Don't talk. You can talk to offer draw and say adjust. But talk softly.
-illegal move. Chess rules... Don't move the pieces in the wrong way. If you make a illegal move, it becomes touch move. You have to move the piece that you made a illegal move. If castle when you are in check, you need to move the king. If you make illegal move 2 times, you lose. If you distract your opponent by talking to him, do touch move, you get a warning. If you get warning 3 times, you lose. Also, you must record. You MUST know chess notation. When you are notating during the games, make your move, press the clock, then write your move. Write your opponent's move too. When pressing the timer, press with the same hand you make the move. If I'm not mistaken, you must write notation with the same hand too. The arbiter (Kind of like a referee) will give briefing. Follow the rules. If briefing not given, follow these rules above. If you want to call arbiter because your opponent did something against the rules, stop the timer/clock, then raise up your hand. When the arbiter comes to you, tell the arbiter (remember, talk softly!) the problem. (Example, your opponent went against the rules) If you want to go to toilet, just tell your opponent you want to go to toilet, then go. Your time will be running... If the arbiter tells anything against what I'm saying, follow the arbiter because sometimes different tournaments different rules.
- On the day before the tournament, play chess only until 4pm maximum. If you want to stop earlier, no problem. After 4pm, do other stuff. Just relax. Just don't look at chess. Have enough sleep at least about 8 hours.
- The arbiter will tell when you can start your game. Shake hands with your opponent, then black player will start the clock. Between rounds, relax. Don't do any chess between rounds. For lunch, don't have heavy meals. Don't eat rice. Maybe you can eat dosa or idli lol. Between rounds, eat a handful of mixed nuts. Eat dark chocolate (One packet, yes fr but if u feel full, then stop eating.)
If you have a weakness in chess, focus on improving that weakness. I'm sure you can do it! All the best bro.. If there is anything you want to ask me, feel free to dm/pm me or message here happy.png

Oh yeah I forgot to say, To check pairing (Who is your opponent,) go to the chess results link, press the pairing (There will be a writing like pairing round 1/9 or something like that) Then find the your name, take note what table number, if your name at left, u are white. if ur name at right, u are black. Then go to ur table in the the tournament area. The tables will probably be labeled (Table 1, etc) Don't be afraid of ur opponent... They are just another human.... Find ways to not look if ur opponent is rated or not... cuz u might get pressured if u know ur opponent is rated...

Yeah I understand how you feel... When I play in chess tournaments I try not to look who is my opponent.. But if I know my opponent, I just think that he/she is just another human.

You said you don't have your birth certificate. You need one for that tournament. You can get probably get a replacement certificate but it may take some time and cost you. You should start immediately.

I contacted AICF, and I just know that I can use other document like- AADHAAR CARD ( indian document ) as a proof of DOB. happy.png
And after it I become very much happy grin.png
