I have found a master who actually plays a huge percentage (80% if id have to guess) of the same openings and variations I play which I know is great when someones looking for master games to study. He's a IM named Edward Porper from canada and so far just as I said he plays most of the openings I play and now im wondering how do I go about studying this player or others like him ? I know chosing someone to study can be like a stockmarket cause if you follow them closely enough you can expect to get a margin of there success and failure so I wont be just studying him but he will be the guy I look into mostly.

My own experience is it is best to study your games, not games of others if you wish to improve. See my free lessons for more information, Lesson001 has all the details.
