I chose mobile phones or other devices because they can be more advanced and tell you more in-depth, for example, I like to use chessable courses to learn different openings and strategies.
Friend, how do you read chess books?

I like to use my mobile phone when traveling, and I prefer physical chess at home.
I like the feel of chess pieces.

Depends on the book. Some I read wholly on the screen because I bought them in that format. Some I read wholly through a print copy, sometimes playing the moves on a physical or virtual board. Often, with game collections, I will go through a game several times on chessgames.com, then read the annotations on that game in a book.
I rarely use my phone, as the screen is too small, but use my iPad. Here’s a screenshot of tChessPro with a game from 100 Soviet Chess Miniatures

chessable is the best place for books considering that over a hundred ebooks on chess are free there.

That's an old photograph. I've increased the number of endgame books to 66. Now that whole shelf and half of the one beneath.
Newer, but still not up-to-date
