Fritz 11

Hi,

I have fritz 11 and 2 days ago I wanted to play chess but had no internet so I played against fritz 11. I lost a bunch of games against it but  then I won one. He just didn't saw that one of my pawns would queen. Now I asked how could a computer like fritz 11 not see something like that against an avarage player like mee(+- 1600/1700). Note that I don't understend how I can chance the level of play of fritz. So it's the strenght of a fritz 11 when you buy it. Does someone understand it?

sorry I was to lassy to post the whole game here he didn't saw my a pawn would queen this position came from the following position where fritz played Qf3 I traded queens and then just striked the a2 and b2 pawn with my rook with qxq gxf3 rxb2+ etc.

Whats the diffrence between the modes (I think it was and is on friendmode).
