Fritz 14 issue

Hi.

I am a beginner of chess. I started to play chess a few years ago, but had stopped playing it for a while, and started it again recently.

I purchased Fritz 14 at that time, and use it for "Full Analysis" or "Blunder Check" to review my games. But I sometimes experience an issue of this kind of analysis.

With some pgns, neither "Full Analysis" nor "Blunder Check" works. Concretely, if I do such analysis for a cetain pgn, the software started to analyze the game, but would stop while the analysis. In many cases, the software works as I expect, but with some pgns, it doesn't. In such case, even after restarting the program, it doesn't work.

The fritz 14 is a version of Steam, and my OS is Windows 8.1.

My question is whether this is a kind of well known bug. If it is a bug, maybe some of you have experienced the same issue. If it is a bug and I could avoid such issue with more recent Fritz 15 or 16, I will purchase newer one. 

Meanwhile I don't need much "new" functions, so I don't have much motivation to just purchase newer version.

When I want to play chess with computer, I use ChessMaster, which is an interesting program for me. I didn't know Hiarcs, and it seems it has all the feature I want, and even more. I will ask about it on this board.
