Pretty much no.
I guess you could play the videos directly from the DVD's directory on one part of your screen in the player of your choice and open the database on its own on the other side.
Though I imagine you'd struggle following the moves.
Especially Anands DVD, LOL!

Hello, I just got the DVD "The ABC of Chess Openings - 2nd Edition", but I have a problem for which I've found no solution yet. I uninstalled WMP some time ago, since it's plain crap. But now Chessbase Reader asks for it to play the videos. Is there any way to use the DVD without having to install WMP 12 again? Thanks!
