This is the most important controversy in the history of breakfast cereals. It can NOT be overstated that the FRUITLOOP disgrace may soon overshadow Mary Shelley's famous FRANKENBERRY court case.

Allegations against another Chess Engine – The LOOP Program

The International Computer Games Association (ICGA) has received a formal complaint from Fabien Letouzey, the programmer of FRUIT, regarding the program LOOP. The allegation is that LOOP, which has participated in the World Computer Chess Championship, uses code derived from FRUIT, which placed second at the 2005 World Computer Chess Championship in Reykjavik....
I wanted to be one of the first to bring this up unfortunate coincidence of names. I know it's a serious matter but I just couldn't resist starting what will be- I am sure-- a very serious discussion.
