game archive

The game archive on my Online Chess page shows me the most recent 19 finished games but I have been unable to find any earlier games. I am not a paying member.

Do people store old games and if so what is an easy way to do so?  I play very few games that are worth keeping but there have been one or two I would like to be able to revisit and there is one current one which I can find because it was played in a tournament and which I might keep if there is an easy way to do so.

Perhaps next time saved the PGN or FEN of the game you would like to save, I'm not sure if there is a way of accessing older games.

If you Google "old online cache viewer" there might be a site that allows you to access old web pages /files from the past.

Thanks, kiwi. Saving the FEN sounds like a good idea. Then I just have to sort out downloading the board and inserting the FEN - I've done that a couple of times and I seem to remember there is a step by step guide somewhere on chess.cm - just what a technologically challenged old fogy needs. :)
