DaFey, sometimes it might be the server auto-pairing the two of you ... that's another explanation for repeated aborts by the same player. And this artifact is not limited to highly rated players. Newcomers should be cut some slack, of course, if they fail to avail themselves of the many useful tools the site offers, as they may not have figured out how all this works. Those who have been here a while have less of an excuse if they fail to use the features available.

I'm pretty new here but one thing I've noticed is the frequency with which high ranked players abort games on the Live Chess Challenges.
Please people. The chess.com staff have gone to a lot of trouble [I assume] to furnish us with a Settings page in which we can choose what level of opponent we want to practice against.
It is immensely irritating to have the same high level player choose a challenge against you only to abort! Come on! One would think that if you had the "nog" to get to 1700+ on Bullet rating, you'd be smart enough to have 'discovered' this feature. Set the Min and Max on opponent you would like to test your wits against and stop aborting every second challenge.
P.S.
Some players have limited time to play so please be considerate.
Thank you.
Michael.
