Review looks at each position and evaluates based on what was best according to the engine in those positions. So, in your example, there's more to the position where at the end of any line you should be up at least a pawn.

I'm curious of the opinion of more advanced players. Does the Game Review feature only take moves into consideration in isolation, or is it more advanced than I realize? I am low-rated, so I could definitely be missing something, but I am a bit confused.
For instance, it told me in a review of my game against a real person that I had a "miss" because I didn't take a pawn with my knight, which was pinned to my queen by the opponent's bishop. I may be new at chess, but I'm pretty sure it would not have been a good choice to move my knight to capture a pawn (which was guarded by the opponent's knight), revealing my queen to be captured by the opponent's bishop.
What I'm wondering is was the Review bot looking way ahead and maybe saw something I didn't see because I am still new and can only see ahead about 3 moves? Or, does it sometimes tell you things without considering all aspects of the board?
There are some cases where I know the Review bot sees more than me, because he will say "you missed a chance to eventually...", and I can't even see what he means, but I believe him. In this case, though, it seemed like this couldn't have been the right answer. Curious your thoughts on how seriously to take the Reviewer's advice. Thanks!
