Important Question

Hi, I asked this question previously but after no responses I thought I would try again, I need some tips on improving my game play with time. I play fairly well without time constraints, about 1600-1700 strength but with time it seems I just malfunction and I make moves against the clock instead of my opponent. I should be taking my time to think and I know this but I keep falling back into the habit of moving too fast.

Important to you is not necessarily important to anyone else.

Next time you post a question like this, you should give readers a hint at what your topic might be. I see you tried to do that in your last post-- perhaps "Improving Calculation Time" was unclear to many people.

You might want to search the forum to see what discussions have previously occurred related to impulsive play and unforced blunders.

This thread looks interesting:

There's something about playing a computer that feels like less pressure even if you lose.  Perhaps you could try playing a number of live games against various computer strength's.  Might help with time pressure's against other people.
