No. I too am rated very high on lichess. It can be different factors. If while making an account on chess.com you write your skill level as advance, it will give you a 2000 rating but does not mean after 100 games you will be able to maintain that rating. Some reasons I think for my high rating on lichess is that it’s ui is very simple and a lot is not happening so I focus on my game better. It can be because on chess.com, your keep getting matched with players on very similar rating so you can gain around 5 to 10 points from a game but on lichess, if you are on a winning streak, I have noticed you can get paired up with someone a little higher than your rating so you can gain like 20 rating points sometimes. But the reason for me is a clean ui where you can concentrate on your game. Some people make memes like on lichess ratings are not right and chess.com ratings are more accurate but I don’t believe in those. To sum it up, play on any site you want and everyone likes different environments. I like chess.com for blogs and articles and lichess for playing bullet as the clean ui is better to focus. Hope it helps 😀.

thats possible but nevertheless, i can win once against an 1800 here, with terrible blunder or when drunk, but it happens all the time at lichess.

Around 2100 lichess and below, your lichess rating will generally be higher than your chess.com. That's just how it is.

Now, let me cry on my measly 2100 lichess rating...

Lichess is inflated.

Theres about a 300-400 elo difference. If your 1950 on lchess and 1000 here chances are you still have a question mark on lchess an need to play more games, i also feel the pool of players is stronger here. Im 1680 over there and low 1200's here. With about the same amount of games played on each site.

On chess.com, you start with like 700 rating

On lichess, you start with like 1500 and only like 3 games to decide ur score.

A beginner wrote in to Gotham chess recently asking him "How can I reach 1500?" He said "Very easy, just sign up to lichess and you're done" wink.png

There are some 400 level players who have 1500 ratings. You just beat a few of them and you are almost up to 2000 without having much skill at all.

They use different rating systems, so they are not directly comparable. For more info, check this.

What is also curious is the Percentile differences. For example, my Chesscom Blitz rating is 1324 and 86.2% percentile. My Lichess Blitz rating is 1534 and 53.6% percentile.
