Server restart

There is a chance that your device may blast due to effect of the 'server restart'.

So, next time when you get the alert 'server restart in 20 minutes'. shut down your device and stay at least 1km away from the device. Also, ask your near and dear ones not to go near it.

I hope you will be safe from the blast.

A new update ???

I am excited !!!

What you think it will be ?

Most server restarts are likely going to be bug fix or stability updates and not new features.

I didn't create this forum thread. Somebody created it and I commented on this thread as you all can see here. But, now this thread is in my name. That is very interesting and funny. I think some bugs are here.grin.pngtongue.png

What happened with you sir is that the OP deleted their post, and you then inherited this thread. So now, it's in your name & you are free to do whatever you want with it. Congratulations!

I think chess.com moderators transferred the ownership of this thread to me without charging any money. tongue.pngI don't know whether moderators did it or some people with the help of some computer programming did it. Anyhow, I am happy that I got the ownership of this thread.wink.png

Let's go ahead with this thread.wink.png

Chess.com should correct a mistake in the computer programming related to forum-thread creation. If somebody creates a thread and delete his/her comment, how come the ownership be automatically transferred to the other person who commented in the thread immediately after the original thread creator. This needs to be fixed by rewriting coding/programming. Programming must be done in such a way that ownership be remained with the original thread creator even if he/she deletes his/her comment. I know some moderators or chess.com's staff are watching this. So, convey this message to higher ups. happy.pngwink.png

What if the nuclear fallout is so strong? I don't think 6 feet of concrete won't work out in that situation. So, I simply sit wherever I am and wait for my destiny.

It used to work that way. People have asked for it to still do that but even if staff agree, it's likely low priority.

That's why a lot of people quote when posting, so it is more obvious when it happens.

This feature has been suggested for longer than you'd expect. I think you should use the 'make a suggestion' feature to inform the site about it anyways.

Since chess.com knows it earlier as you said, there is know meaning in suggesting  about this matter.
