I would urge you to turn off your chat given that peoples comments are having such a strong effect on your well-being. However, while I myself try not to be rude, I don't mind people doing so. In fact, I have learned to appreciate people's honesty. As such, I'm loathe to support your cause, especially considering how much people differ in what they consider impolite.

well the only time a person was rude to me (in a game) was a girl that called me a goatf**er XD and that like 1 game out of what 10000 so i dont know how you are choked by bad messages but hey maybe thats just your luck

I am choked by the messages I receive, especially on a chess plateform... if you feel the same, let's encourage chess.com developers to add a button to signal them and when they get a certain percentage of bad points, they receive a threat of cancelation of the account.

Choking? I get messages from strangers very rarely. Maybe it's because I used to have the same problem and I went into settings to disallow club or tournament invitations and I have turned off almost all notifications.
That sounds like you are curled up in a corner with your fingers in your ears. Personally I like notifications and don't like abuse and I don't think that is unreasonable. But I don't know the solution.
Come on, who wouldn't be turned on by thoughts of Their Angela in large, black boots?
