Well, I hope you feel better after getting that nonsense out of your head.
Get your facts straight

Clearly you didn't read my post properly. Then again you have a muppet for an avatar so I forgive you.
Your counter argument scores minus 50 000 points on the debate scale.

Well said, entertaining, and mostly true to boot. gg.
One question though, if chess simply needs "The CPR" then what would the CPR be?
A man of quality you are. I suggest banning Carlsen and his type from chess for life.Give the children hope.

"This is why women are actually better chess players everything considered."
Yeah, no offense but until they have at least 50 in the top 100 and obtain a higher average rating then no they aren't.

Actually, 0.3% of the players with a FIDE rating is grandmaster. I just did that calculation yesterday.

If you can get 100 men to do what women do besides playing chess all day and still make the top 100 then there is reason to think to suspect they are better at chess

Accepted, but what percentage of the 0,3% started off on chess.co asking ' what must I do to become a GM' or ' I study 4 hours a day how long before I am a GM' etc etc etc ?

The pool of female players is much smaller. About 5% of the rated players is female. I think they do pretty well...

While I did not calculate this, I suspect that would resolve to about... hmm, well... none. Zero. 0% :P

You will probably find that 0.0001 percent of chess.com members is represented by a fairly small girl from China or possibly Japan but only after she was cut in half

Do women have the potential to be as good? The Polgar sisters are all titled and their childhoods entailed very tough chess training by their father so probably.
Are they as things stand now? Not on average.
Sounds like the bitter, "If I spent all day studying I'd be good too!" jealous copout as if you somehow don't deserve to be good or they're (somehow) the same as you despite the fact you always destroy them.

@theGreatoogieBooger
Please retype your last remark ,it sounds like you did half of it while talking to yourself and the other half doesn't make sense on any level.

Actually, 0.3% of the players with a FIDE rating is grandmaster. I just did that calculation yesterday.
Wait so, one in every 333 people that have a FIDE rating are grandmasters?

One question though, if chess simply needs "The CPR" then what would the CPR be?
In the 1950's it was Mikhail Tal; in the 1960's it was RJ Fischer. In the 1980's, Kasparov perhaps; in the 1990's, Judit Polgar; in the 2000's, the internet.... constant CPR is necessary and maybe inevitable.

Hold on, I'll get you the numbers again. Takes a bit of time because my search is tearing down FIDE's database. But in december 2013 there were 1441 GM's. And around 410.000 rated players. Hold on.

Actually, 0.3% of the players with a FIDE rating is grandmaster. I just did that calculation yesterday.

There are 372606 male players with a FIDE rating according to their database and 48097 female players. Totals 420703.
420703 / 1441 = 291.9
There are ofcourse many more unrated players.
3 chess facts
First of all 99.9999% of players on here won't become a GM ,and that is a very liberal estimate. It doesn't matter if you study 10 000 hours with a coach or ten years on your own or even if started at the age of two.It is not about work or skill or ability ,to become a GM you must have a special kind of nuttiness that most people just don't have . It is a combination of Belgium humor(i.e. Non excitant) , Danish boredom with things in general and some Russian whatever it is they have that makes them crazy.
Secondly chess is not dead it merely needs CPR very desperately.
The problem is not machines beating humans, the problem is humans becoming machines. Like the T1000 aka Magnus Carlsen.By far the most boring, unadventurous ,tepid an unimaginative player in the history of forever.
He doesn't even like chess ,he just plays it to upset people that worked really hard to become GM. They should introduce him to Deep Blue or whatever that computer was and send them off into the sunset for a honeymoon.
Lastly the reason most men have higher ratings than most women is a matter of intelligence ,women are intelligent enough for the most part to realize there is more to life than pushing chess pieces around a board in new and imaginative ways. They go out ,have friends, socialize and start families and still manage to achieve incredible ratings.
Only a man can sit in front of a chess board for 8 hours a day ,do nothing else and still convince himself he is useful as a human being.
This is why women are actually better chess players everything considered.
