I have had some of the Chessmaster software in the past, I agree with post # 7, not needed. I have not even used mine after finding this site. However I have not looked to see what the new one has on it, so my opinion is based on the ones I had in the past.

I am new to this site and was looking for advice on how to get the most out of it as it looks like there are a lot of great resources.
I am a novice, played a bit with my old boss about 15 years ago.
On another note, is the latest Chessmaster softeware still good software, worth the money? I see grandmaster edition carries a pretty hefty price tag.
