Getting tactic rating 2400 back

better to solve it in any time than to cry after. chess is not random game. this one was a strong tactic, with unexpected final. liked it.
As long as chess is played between two people it certainly is random. If the goal is to solve the tactic only, then I agree it doesn't matter how long it takes. But if the goal is to apply the lessons of tactic trainer to real games, then time does matter. I think it's better to guess than spend 48 minutes to figure out a few moves. Because what would happen in my case is I would spend 48 minutes figuring out a great tactic, only to then lose the game by making silly mistakes because I ran out of time.

Omg, It took me 48 mins to solve this one!
I understand taking more time to get tactics right, because usually the target time is totally unreasonable and 3 or 4 minutes is about what could be expected in a real game. But it seems to me 48 minutes defeats the whole purpose. In a real game you would lose on time in just a few moves if it took you 48 minutes per move. Why not try for a few minutes then just guess? I know guessing doesn't work out very well in tactics trainer but in a real game, guessing works out well pretty often. Isn't the whole point of tactics trainer to get better at real games?
I agreed. Solving those hard problems in such long time is 99% useless. I am doing those for personal goal, I want to solve a few 3000+ rated puzzles.
The best method for improvement in tactics would be collecting(1500 to 2000 rated puzzles, solve them like puzzle rush).

on well, I had hard time to get tactics rating 2400 in other site. So, it seemed my puzzle skill seemed the same, comparing before and after their introduction of new rating system.
But in here I got 2400 to 2600 due to new tactic rating system. So, new tactic rating is +200 bogus.

Yess!! A personal satisfaction, the first time I can answer correctly to 3000+ tactics!! Took me 13 minutes, but still very happy!!
