How does the Glicko RD method work? Please enlighten me on this. What are the other methods available? What is the difference between them?

There's an article on it. Just search up "how do chess.com ratings work" or something and you should find it. It's pretty interesting how it works and you should definitely check it out.

My RD is 25. What does that indicate?

That your RD has the value of an integer, in this case 25.

It means if you win you get 25 points, if you lost you lost 52 points

That is not true. I lose only around 8-10 points if I lose.

It indicates your rating is fairly stable/accurate in that pool. Your recent performances put your real strength within 50 points +/- your current rating. So, with a curent rapid of 1250, your real strength is as low as 1200 and as high as 1300.
