At some point I am planning on going through some annotated games played by GMs. I was thinking of the following two books, which I have not purchased yet. In which order should I go through them? Also, what other books (in this genre or others) should I consider in addition to or in place of the following?

Winning Chess Brilliancies (Winning Chess - Everyman Chess) by Yasser Seirawan (Oct 1, 2003)

My Best Games of Chess: 1908-1937 by Alexander Alekhine and Igor Zaitsev (May 1, 2013)

seirawan is more elementary book and geared to more novice player

alekhine is more towards senior player

but they are both okay.

which one are you going to read first?

The Seirawan book is great and one of my favorites.  However, reading McDonald, Chernev and Giddins first would be my recommendations.  It's easier to appreciate the Seirawan book once you have a better foundation.
