Even more than hackers, there are many more people who don't know what the word "hacker" means.
For example, when lag causes your opponent's clock to register a few extra seconds, that's not hacking.
When a pawn captures en passant, that's not hacking.
When the game is drawn due to stalemate, that's not hacking.
When you forget to log out and your younger sibling resigns all your online games to make you mad, that's not hacking.
