lol apparently the world champion does it too
Have you ever fell asleep while playing chess??

No, but GM Vladislav Tchakiev (I think that's how you spell it??) did once in a major international event. It's quite a spectacular story actually

No, but sometimes I fall asleep while reading some of the threads here, depending on how interes...zzzzz.

13,000,000+ members...how many times do you you think we can keep posting the usual without something different popping up.
I think its a refreshing change from:
Whos the greatest player ever?
What opening should i play?
And my all time favorite...."I am an agressive/tactical player looking for an agressive/tactiical opening that gives me an advantage, but is safe, but tactical/agressive"

I figured you were, but it gave me a chance to bring up my favorite post.

A couple of weeks ago I fell asleep on move two or three here. It was blitz.
I woke up about 30 seconds later, and my opponent was still thinking!
I went on to win but that was my last game of the night.
I did.. was +5 against a 2100 but was forfeited :/
Were you forfeited for sleeping or for running out of time?
Forfeit for sleeping seems unfair.
Aww, that sucks.
Did you put your head down on the table?
I've fallen asleep in public like that, but not at a chess table
A while ago I was playing in a tournament and I literally fell asleep during a game. I was concentrating hard on the board but... it was so quiet and I didn't have much sleep the night before so I was tired and I just drifted off. Lol thankfully my opponent was nice and he woke me up before I lost on time :) So does anyone have any similar experiences?
