Hi! You probably have seen me somewhere or another making a complete fool of my self. I want to get better at chess but no matter how many puzzles, games, or lessons I do, I can’t seem to improve at all. Meanwhile, all of my friends here are 1000+ with very little effort and time. Is there anyone who can help me get to 1000+ Elo please???

delete your chess.com account and start a new - I was rated 900 on my old account, deleted it, opened a new one, and got to 1520 in around 6 months.

Here's a genuine comment: How much have you really been trying to improve? When I was just starting out in the game, I really motivated myself to be better than a beginner level player, and I really did try. I believe I read the same beginner instructional book something like three times just trying to really recall and get the ideas of what I read. I started chess only about three years ago and I am about master level, partly due to the pieces of advice and studies and generally what I've noticed over the years in how to play correctly. I think your skill level really corresponds to how much you consider the position, analyze different moves based on your intuition on their merit, and play what you think does more than any other move. It was mindset that really helped me out, just to really think and not just justify a random move I played.

Also, here's a bit more advice: Play a few games each day. Play longer time controls, and you should also analyze your games in depth, look at a few lines for each mistake or the reason behind why a move you played was a good move. Do not just look at a game review for four seconds, see you made a few blunders, and then just move on. That offers nothing to you. I would recommend watching GothamChess and Daniel Naroditsky in your spare time for their speedruns as they are highly insightful in how a good chess player thinks. Once you build enough knowledge in what you should play, your intuition should grow better and more accurate.
