Hello chess.com players, My name is Eslam I am a 1300 rated player and I made this forum asking for your advice to help me improve. I started playing chess a year ago with a friend of mine for fun but I liked the game that turned from a random game that I play with my friends to a hobby until I realised how bad I am so I watched chess videos on YouTube, saw GMs,IMs and NMs tournaments and Thier games analysis until I reached 1300 and now I'm facing a wall and I will be thankful to you all if you're willing to help.Any advice would any thing you know is appreciated

There is no need to reinvent the wheel.

I see that you received a study guide several months ago.

Did you try to follow it? For how long?

If that was too advanced, you might give the one by Dina Belenkaya a try, https://www.chess.com/article/view/wgm-dina-belenkayas-beginner-intermediate-study-guide-1000-1400-elo
