is there a way to hide my opponents ratings? thanks

Focus mode.

What if you play 400 points opponent below your rating and gain only 1 points. So you need to see the rating to see how much work is actually necessary. There is no need to treat everybody equal on a chessboard because it is a skill based game. 

You should play in focus mode

You quoting someone and adding words to it means you are miss quoting them and making it seem as if though they said something they didn't.

Quoting is fine but you are typing INSIDE the quote box.

You are basically quoting yourself but making it seem like the guy that you quoted said what you said.
