Sure, he started it and used the worse language, but come on. You chimed in saying he sucks and is a loser. (By the way "Looser" is not the word you're looking for.)

1300 isn't too high yet :) I think you'll run into this language for another 500 points at least... although most players don't do this.

I acknowledged that he started it in my post. But what compels you to keep write back to him? In my view, you're as bad as he is. You think it's ok to insult someone. When you say "he started it" you sound like a 5 year old who doesn't know how to act like a mature adult -- no offense if you're just a kid, but maybe this is a good life lesson in that case.

I agree that some sort of disciplinary action should be taken against "tropicalschess" by chess.com.  This really isn't the kind of atmosphere that the site should tolerate.  

I'm going to have to go with Loomis on this one; next time, just ignore the player or disable chat.  Never feed into the player's anger; it's never worth it.

You can also just report the player to the site using the "Report Abuse" links. The site management will take it seriously. Bringing it to the forums is not the way to go.

It's a shame because 47. ... h5! would have been very nice for black.
